Supporting Sierra Hospice for Almost 45 Years

About Us

The Sierra Hospice Thrift Store plays a crucial role in funding Sierra Hospice by channeling all proceeds to support our end-of-life care services. Through the generous donations and purchases made at our thrift store, we are able to provide comprehensive hospice care at no cost to our patients and their families.

This support ensures that we can continue offering compassionate, high-quality care and essential services during one of life’s most challenging times, without placing a financial burden on those we serve. Every transaction at our thrift store directly contributes to our mission of providing comfort, dignity, and support throughout the end-of-life journey.

Donations

When we accept donations

We gratefully accept donations Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

When we cannot accept donations

We do not accept donations on Wednesdays, Sundays, or the first Saturday of each month, due to our storewide 50% off sale and the increased volume of customers.

All donations are accepted at the second roll-up door on the side of the building. A doorbell is located next to the donation entrance — please ring the bell when you arrive and a team member will assist you. All donations are reviewed and approved by our staff at the time of drop-off to ensure they meet our current donation guidelines.

If you are planning to make a large donation, we kindly ask that you call ahead so we can ensure we have adequate staff and space available to assist with unloading.

Please donate only clean, gently used, and resalable items. Unfortunately, disposing of unusable or unsellable items creates additional expenses that reduce the funds available to provide compassionate hospice care in our community.

All qualifying donations are tax-deductible, and a donation receipt is available upon request.

Every donation directly supports Sierra Hospice’s mission of providing compassionate, local hospice care to patients and their families. Thank you for your generosity and continued support!
